FEATURE: Sick of the Filth, with Skrillex // triple j

I became randomly obsessed with the ebb and flow of dubstep last year despite not really digging the genre on a sonic level, which somehow led to this hangout with Skrillex for triple j magazine‘s July edition. “Just don’t call him dubstep,” I remember then-ed Jenny Valentish saying. “He hates that.”

I’ve loved the pants off Sonny Moore ever since I heard From First To Last’s Heroine, which is one of the most underrated post-hardcore records ever and bizarrely features Limp Bizkit guy Wes Borland on bass. Yer, Skrillex used to be a damn good rocker. Show some fucking respect, stupid young people. Woo!
